Support ANR
The ANR Meetings serve as a major vehicle by which investigators studying neuroblastoma gather and exchange information on a world-wide basis. As with any large meeting, the costs of putting on the meeting can be substantial. Regardless of who is hosting the meeting, philanthropy is very important to the success of the meeting as it allows the registration fees to be kept to a rate many reseachers can afford.
The host of each particular meeting is responsible for the budget of the meeting and for obtaniing donations to help support the meeting. In addition to general support of the meeting costs, there are a variety of specific aspects of the meeting that anyone could choose to support in part, such as the meeting abstract book, or particular sessions of the meeting. In addition, to insure that trainees and new investigators interested in neuroblastoma are able to attend this important meeting, donations to support travel awards for trainees and young investigators are sought.
There will be appropriate recognition on our website and in the program book. If you are interested in supporting the ANR Meeting for 2006, to be held in Los Angeles, please contact Terence Green via email at tgreen@chla.usc.edu or by phone at (323) 669-5675. | ||||||||||
